Nadja holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
She has experience working in both non-profit and for-profit organizations, as well as in community, school and hospital settings. She has worked extensively with pregnant teens and their children, single moms, homeless people, and children and teens with mental health and psychiatric conditions. Her experience also includes speaking engagements for professional teaching staff, among other groups.
In her free time she pursues her various passions, especially in the space of healing and energy work. For this reason she completed a Children’s Yoga Certification, a 200-HR Yoga Teacher Training, a Certification in Yoga with a Trauma-Focused Approach, and a 300-HR Clinical Yoga Teacher Training. She loves to read, teach and share the benefits of yoga.
