Dr. Aníbal González

Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Aníbal González is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a strong interest in preventive care, wellness, and helping patients build healthier habits that are realistic and sustainable.

He earned his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed his Family Medicine residency at RUSH University Medical Center–Esperanza Health Centers in Chicago. During his training, he worked with a diverse patient population and gained experience caring for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

For Dr. González, primary care is about more than treating a diagnosis. He values getting to know his patients, understanding what matters to them, and working together on practical plans that fit their lives. His goal is to make healthcare feel collaborative, approachable, and focused on long-term well-being.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. González is happy to be back home and caring for his community. When he is not working, he enjoys staying active, spending time with his partner, family, and two dogs, and trying new restaurants.
